On 19 September, Landi Renzo celebrates its 60th anniversary with the event “Excellence Inside”, which sees the participation of the winner of the Nobel Prize for Peace, W. Clark.

Acquisition of A.E.B. Technologies and Baytech, as well as opening further subsidiaries in Romania, Venezuela, Argentina, India and the United States.
SAFE S.p.A becomes a part of the Group. 70% of Emmegas S.r.l. is acquired.
The Indian company Krishna Landi Renzo India Private Limited Held is established.

Landi Renzo Pars. is opened in Tehran (Iran).
Landi Renzo S.p.A. is listed on the STAR segment of Piazza Affari, the Italian stock exchange. The listing is a guarantee of transparency and allows the Landi Renzo Group’s reputation to grow on the markets and top client and supplier relations.

A subsidiary is established in Iran and Lovato Gas, the third player on the international market, is taken over.
2003-2006
The Brazilian branch is opened in 2003, the Chinese branch in 2005, the Pakistani one in 2006, the year that the LANDI RENZO University is also opened, which is a centre for human resource development and for the diffusion of sustainable mobility culture.

2001
70% of the company Eurogas Holding B.V. is sold and the company Eurogas Utrecht B.V. is taken over by the subsidiary Landi International B.V.
The new company headquarters are opened in Cavriago in Reggio Emilia.

1990s
Landi Renzo becomes an industrial group: in 1993 it takes over the company Landi Srl and Eurogas Holding B.V. a Dutch company in the same sector.
The Polish branch of the company, Landi Renzo Polska S.p.Z.o.o. is established in 1999, and the year after, the company takes over Med S.p.A. in Reggio Emilia.

1970s-80s
Renzo Landi dies in 1977. The company continues its business, managed by his wife and son Stefano who becomes Chief Executive Officer of the company in 1987 when its become a Joint Stock company.
1960s
External sales expand rapidly throughout Italy and the first exports to Japan, France, Belgium and Holland take place in 1963 and 1964.

The 50s: the first workshop
The company’s story begins in 1954 in Reggio Emilia, where Renzo Landi and his wife Giovannina Domenichini set up Officine Meccaniche Renzo Landi, the only company that made specific mixers for all types of vehicles.
